Sam graduated as a physiotherapist from the University of Melbourne
in 2002 with honours. He has completed his masters in sports physiotherapy
and is currently embarking on a PhD focusing on early diagnosis of tendon injuries in elite athletes.
He is a qualified Clinical Pilates practitioner
and has incorporated this knowledge in a variety of clinical settings.
Sam is currently working as a sports physiotherapist and injury prevention co-ordinator with Carlton FC.
He has previously worked as a physiotherapist for AFL club - Western Bulldogs, County Cricket Club - Lancashire, District Cricket, Victorian Premier League Soccer, Athletes, Tennis players, Cyclists, Rugby League players as well as in hospital orthopaedic
outpatient departments.
Playing cricket both at home and in the UK and having experienced many sports as a player and physio Sam created Recover Physiotherapy (now Recover Sports Medicine) to bring elite athlete treatment and attention to every level of the sporting community.
